Promotion terms & conditions
THESE PROMOTION TERMS & CONDITIONS constitute a legal agreement (“T&C’s”) between you and the organization or entity that you represent and Mollie B.V. (hereinafter “Mollie”) to govern the incentive, as shared with you via email (the “Incentive”) offered by Mollie.
By participating in, accepting or in any way making use of this Incentive, you will be deemed to have unconditionally agreed to be bound by these T&C’s.
YOU AGREE to the following terms:
General provisions
1.1 This Incentive is available from 00:01 GMT on 18th of February 2025 until 23.59 GMT on 18th March 2025 inclusive (the “Incentive Term”).
1.2 This Incentive is open to merchants (i) who are fully onboarded with Mollie, (ii) offer the Payment Service (as defined in Mollie’s User Agreement) of Mollie to their customers and (iii) have a registered office in the EEA (hereinafter “you” or “your”).
Your Incentive
2.1 If you refer a merchant to Mollie, EUR 100 will be added to the balance of your Account for each Referred Merchant (as defined below).
2.2 To refer a merchant to Mollie have the merchant sign up with Mollie via the referral link found on the “Refer a business” section of the app. You can receive a maximum of EUR 500 for your participation in this Incentive.
2.3 EUR 100 will be added to the balance of your Account if a Referred Merchant has processed EUR 100 of orders for customers which result in Successful Transaction(s) (as defined below) via Mollie within 60 days after they have been accepted by Mollie as a merchant. You will be notified hereof via email and push notification.
2.4 A merchant qualifies as referred to Mollie by you, if the merchant (i) has no prior record in connection with Mollie’s Payment Service (ii) is not, at the time referred to Mollie, in any contractual relations or ongoing negotiations with Mollie in connection with Mollie’s Payment Service (iii) has not (yet) been accepted by Mollie as a merchant (iv) has a registered office in the EEA (“Referred Merchant”).
2.5 A Successful Transaction is an order placed via the website or a terminal of the Referred Merchant by a customer to pay for products and services of the Referred Merchant using Mollie’s payment module. Chargebacks, refunds, notifications, discounts, failures, application fees, captures and FX transactions shall not constitute a Successful Transaction (“Successful Transaction”).
Your Referred Merchant incentive
3.1 Once a Referred Merchant has processed EUR 100 of orders for customers via Mollie within 60 days after they have been accepted by Mollie as a merchant, EUR 100 will also be added to the balance of their Account.
3.2 You are responsible for informing your Referred Merchant about these conditions and that they -amongst other things- have to be accepted as a merchant by Mollie in accordance with its acceptance criteria in order for the EUR 100 to be added to the balance of their Account.
Confidential Information and Personal Data
4.1 All data and information that is secret or of confidential nature will be treated as strictly confidential, will be secured in an appropriate manner and will not be disclosed to third parties in any way whatsoever.
4.2 Your personal data will be handled in accordance with Mollie’s Privacy Statement.
Liability
5.1 Mollie is not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Incentive.
5.2 Mollie will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with these T&C’s for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.
Miscellaneous
6.1 The User Agreement applies in its entirety to you, your Referred Merchant and this Incentive. Mollie reserves the right to decide whether or not to make Payment Services available to you or any other merchant.
6.2 Mollie reserves the right to reject your participation in this Incentive, if you or your Referred Merchant is in breach with these T&C’s or of any agreement with Mollie and/or applicable laws at the time of the duration of this Incentive.
6.3 For the avoidance of doubt, Mollie will not cover any costs that are not explicitly set out in these T&C’s and will not be responsible for any such costs arising from including but not limited to incentivising, refer merchants or costs arising from onboarding merchants.
6.4 The Incentive is not transferable or exchangeable.
6.5 Except where expressly set out in these T&C, monetary amounts are described as excluding VAT.
6.6 If any part/s of these T&C’s are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect. If there is a discrepancy between these T&C’s and those in any promotional material, these T&C’s will prevail.
6.7 These T&C’s shall be governed by Dutch law and disputes must be brought before the court in Amsterdam.
