“For markta, it's very important that we offer an alternative to industrially produced products found in supermarkets. We focus on handmade items, social working conditions, and how ecologically a product is made. Transparency and regional quality are at the forefront,” explains Theresa during our conversation.
The company collaborates with 250 small and family-run businesses, most of which are located within a 100-kilometer radius of Vienna. Particularly important is the direct collaboration with farmers:
“As a farmer, you can directly contact us through our website. Afterwards, our procurement team reviews the information and checks if the products meet our sustainability criteria.”
Why markta chose Mollie as their PSP
Markta chose Mollie as their payment service provider to provide customers with a simple and hassle-free checkout experience, especially in-store.
With Mollie’s payment terminal combined with Odoo as the checkout software, different cash register and software systems can be seamlessly integrated, ensuring a smooth payment process.
